“Great Location in Margaret River”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2010

This small hotel in Margaret River, Western Australia, is a perfect location to tour the local wineries and take in the other local attrations. It is really a B&B with very nice, large rooms, all with patios. Ours looked out into the woods where we saw kangaroos in the evening and birds of all kinds during the day. You can walk into downtown for meals. The breakfast is great and inn keepers very friendly and helpful.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2009

We stayed over the Easter weekend 2009. The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was large and comfortable and the spa bath with the open partition to the room made it all the more special. The balcony looking out into the forest was relaxing but a little close to the other rooms for my liking and I was disappointed not to see the kangaroos up close.
At a cost of $300 per night I considered it to be a little overpriced for the standard of the accomodation. However, the service from the owner was outstanding and his local knowledge impecable.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2008

We booked a forest view room and enjoyed Kangaroos from our deck at dusk each evening. When traveling in Australia, who could ask for more?

The hosts, Linda and Phillip were charming and helpful. Our rental car had mechanical problems and after a half a day of wrangling with the car company they promised to bring us a new car. They were not happy about it, and didn’t call us on our cell phone to say they had arrived, so we could sign the new forms. We walked to town to have lunch. Linda charmed them, promised to have us sign the forms, and she faxed them to the car company. That was just the start of their kind and gracious hospitality.

The rooms are spacious and all have king beds, decks and large 2 person soaking tubs. Breakfast is large and good, served in their dining room. With only 10 or so guest rooms, book early. Each day they checked on you to be sure you hit the best wineries and places in town. It was such a pleasant experience; I would whole heartedly recommend them to any traveler.
