We spent two nights here in a standard room at $155 per night. The hotel was completely unremarkable, but perfectly adequate, although it sounds much nicer than it actually is.

The whole place needs a serious overhaul as it has seen better days. It felt worn, dated and neglected. The common areas were the worst bit and I had to wonder if all those missing pieces of drywall were caused by late night brawls or guests playing footy in the hallway.

After two noisy evenings in this hotel, we were convinced that we were indeed in the Wild Wild West. The bottle opener attached to the desk in our room should have tipped us off.

Our room rate included a toast, fruit and yogurt breakfast, but we were warned to steer clear of the cereal and muffins, as that was part of the $17 cooked breakfast which we’d declined. That seemed a bit odd, but we did as we were told.

The All Seasons is well located though. We just stepped outside and within minutes we were on Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie’s main drag.

We ended up checking out a day early as we didn't find Kalgoorlie all that interesting, so we headed to Esperance.

We stayed 2 days at the All Seasons Plaza Hotel in September while visiting family for my granddaughter's birthday. We were as puzzled by the breakfast arrangements as Hewitt 750 was.
As our family in Kal has limited accommodation we have stayed at the Plaza many times before. We were expecting the usual excellent breakfast we have enjoyed before and were puzzled to see the signs of breakfast upgrade $17. There were few staff around as we entered the restaurant the first morning so we seated ourselves and tried to work out the system. There was no menu and no signs except a very obscure sign saying cold buffet over some fruit and yoghurt. Other tables held cereal, juices and a main table had hot items and toast at either end. All self service. We decided first morning to settle for a light breakfast and had a little fruit and toast. The second morning after looking at the same offering we decided not to "upgrade" or so we thought. After eating some toast a staff member came by to inform us that as we had already had toast we may as well eat a hot breakfast. We would be paying for it anyway. The hot food was really unappetising.
We did complain when we paid the bill. We were charged for 4 full breakfasts. The reception desk person was very pleasant and agreed that the breakfast arrangement was confusing. She asked for an email address saying they would send a form to gather information or complaints but I never received such a form.
We have been members of Accor for many years but this was the final straw and have decided not to renew our membership or return to this tired hotel.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because breakfast was included, so it was a bit of a surprise to be presented with a leaflet on arrival stating that if you want a hot breakfast there is a $17 surcharge. We didn't particularly want a hot breakfast, so weren't too concerned, but when you go into breakfast you discover that the surcharge also applies if you want cereal! Since when has cereal been part of a hot breakfast?

Out of all the places we saw whilst in Kalgoorlie, this one appeared to be one of the best. Clean, quiet location. Didn't use any of the motels facilities as we were visiting with relatives, but would definitely stay again. Dont forget to have a look at the Superpit, which is the largest open cut mine in the world, and its about 5Km from this Motel.

We had a short stay at the All Seasons Plaza in Kalgoorlie and it was fantastic. The rooms were spotless we had a king room the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean and the service at the front desk was friendly and polite. the hotel was only one street away from Hannan Street so walking into town took 5 mins max. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kalgoorlie.
