Firstly, can I say that it didn't look like it was open - Sunday afternoon, and it looked all quiet but when I approached the door it opened, and yes, it was open. I spent over an hour there - should have spent more. There is a lot of informtion about the Geraldton area, and its history, and I was particularly interested in the aboriginal history and information, as well as the ship wreck and the HMS Sydney exhibit, as well as the exhibit about the Abrolhos Islands. Sad to see how that has changed. It is well worth a visit - there's excellent parking, and wonderful information and a great gift shof.
