Having stated here previously same weekend for the past 3 years we arrived after booking this apartment only I be told they had no recollection of our booking and we had to find accommodation elsewhere! No reall assistance from them and left high and dry on one of the biggest weekends of the year.
Should have gone with gut instincts from previous year when we arrived to a dirty apartment and had to wait out the front for it to be cleaned.

Worst management ever!!!! Honestly don't waste your time!

My husband and I had stayed in these apartments 2 yrs ago with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Due to this we felt confident this last weekend in taking our niece and nephew and their 2 children there. What a disappointment. The bathroom was not only dirty but it was impossible to control or maintain the water temperature and pressure in the shower. The handle on the upstairs toilet door was hanging off so my husband repaired it. All the doors into the rooms needed oiling which my husband also addressed so that nobody was disturbed while sleeping. The stairs all need to be checked because there was only a couple that don't creak. The downstairs toilet needed a good scrub. We tried in vain for over an hour to connect to the Internet. No luck. While the sheets and towels were clean, the doona covers were stained. None of the tvs in the bedrooms worked. This is not budget accommodation and although we were aware that check out was 10 am, to have the cleaning lady walk in while we were still walking out the door at 10.15 was the final straw. We know Warrnambool well so we will definitely not return to Bayview and will not recommend it in the future.

The actual unit was amazing. Polished timber floors and halogen downlights (even controlled by a trick touch screen) but after arriving we encountered the following issues.

- 2 of the 3 bedrooms were locked and our key would not open them. Upon contacting the property manager i was told that as i booked for 2 people they assumed we would not need the other 2 rooms. After i explained that we were not a couple she had to come out and then unlock 1 of these rooms. Strange how i was paying for 3 rooms but could only have access to 1 or 2 of them -

-Leftover food was left in the fridge. Kids cheese snacks (half eaten) and opened and expired milk was left in the fridge

-Shower/Hot water. The shower was almost unusable. I realise the awfully weak water pressure is hardly the fault of the owner but for goodness sake have the plumbing fixed and install a water-saving head to fix the flow issue. While in the shower it is impossible to control the temperate of the water so every adjustment of the tap equates to a change some 30 seconds later which meant water went from too hot (and scalding) to plain cold

-TV Remote. Where is the remote for the TV in the spare bedroom? We could not use this. Why have a bedroom TV if you cannot use it from bed?

-Toilet roll dispenser. This had clearly fallen off (the screws were still in the wall) but nobody had bothered to reattach it so this meant having to fish the TP from the floor each time. Hardly luxurious.

-Wifi. The online listing says internet included but the internet was not connected and when i contacted the manager they were unable to provide the internet password. This was a real pain as we had to source internet elsewhere to make travel bookings and ended up missing cheaper tickets.

-TV wiring in main bedroom. What is with all the wiring hanging down? Looks like it used to be connected to the wall but has since fallen off and hangs from the TV down the wall -Bathroom door. Not only is the lock on the latch broken but the side door to the main bedroom is jammed and cannot be opened.

-Beds. Super soft beds with no support at all. Woke with terrible back pains and this was after just 1 night.

-Creaking stairs. This wasnt a major issue but may prove a real pain for a larger group with people leaving early or arriving late. The noise is really quite loud. In addition to this I contacted the manager and asked how i could send feedback. I was then given a dud email address (delivery failed as address not valid) and when i did send an email to them with this feedback/complaint I received no reply whatsoever, even after I advised I would be leaving online feedback. My advice - give it a miss

Room Tip: Dont bother. Stay somewhere else. The place needs proper maintenance. Not to mention management that...

This is a nice, modern apartment with lovely ocean views and plenty of space for a family. It is also close to an access point to the ocean walking path and about a 10 minute walk to Lake Pertobe. On the downside, the apartment was extremely noisy. Every time a tap was turned on, the noise from the water tank was deafening. Also the floorboards throughout the apartment and on the stairs over the three levels meant that every sound echoed through the whole place.
Most disappointing was the lack of service from the property manager Emma who simply didn't respond to messages left on her voicemail regarding how to access the apartment and later how to access the wifi network for which there was no password.
Overall, nice apartment, good location but too noisy and poor management so wouldn't stay here again.
