“Lots of Whales in September”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

Very nicely done up with boardwalk and steps down to beach, plenty of parking, plenty of surfers and plenty of whales when I was there. Free, but no public toilets, closest are just up at the park before you drive over the beach. Can sit on the boardwalk and have bring your own refreshments, which you will want if there are plenty of whales to watch.

“Whales”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

A great place to see the Whales when they are in Warrnambool. You can often see them from the lookout and the beach.
Patience is sometimes required though as they are wild animals and don't show themselves on our timetable... only when they feel like it.

“Whales viewing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We were lucky and in season.
There were 2-3 whales near shore, and they were full of action; flipping, rolling, etc.
Was a great "wildlife" experience for us.
Bring along binoculars and warm clothing.
The wind from sea is cold and strong.

“Saw a whale do no complaints”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

The lookout at Logan's beach was quite crowded being the middle of the day in whale-watching season. We were lucky enough to see a whale with its calf. The surrounding area is also pleasant to wander around. Public loos were clean also which was good

“Whales!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Saw lot's of Southern Right Whales here. It was great! The viewing platform is well designed to give people a good vantage point of them. But you can also head down on to the beach for a walk.

We'll be back.
