“Good Old Style Motel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

A comfortable old motel, typical of the 60's complete with modern facilities like free WiFi that actually works very well. Rooms are basic but clean and beds comfortable. Rooms are quiet and owners are friendly and helpful with tips for local dining and other attractions. A good value breakfast served in the room.

In the way of rooms you get what you paid for. Older rooms that need reno, but comfortable beds, more than enough clean linen. Shower is a bit small, but aircon heats room very well.
Owners are very nice and go out of way to assist.
Will stay again

Stayed one night with friends en route to a Murray River houseboat. Motel easy to find even though it was dark by the time we arrived as we spent longer than planned at Echuca on the way through from Melbourne Checkin straightforward. Our three rooms were all in a group and very similar in presentation No complaints.
Room and bathroom good size although a bit unexpected to find the washhandbasin in the main area rather than the bathroom. Beds good to sleep in. Full kitchen we used for breakfast because, at the motel operators recommendation we went for a very good value dinner meal at the Swan Hill RSA.

Overall all our group felt it was a good place to stay and no issues with the price.

A good value standard motel which gave us a good value standard stay

Room Tip: Didn't feel there was a lot of difference between any of the rooms but further away from the mai...

We stayed in a large room in the back as there were 4 of us in our group. We had room for 6 people to sleep in our room. It was a great place to stop over and the price was right. There is one bad review on this site - I wouldn't pay that review any attenion as we had fine service while we were there. Make sure you go and see the Pioneer Settlement in Swan Hill. We had a great time.

Room Tip: I would ask to be in the front part of the motel next time.
