As no superior rooms were available we booked the presidential suite. On entering we were struck by the most disgusting carpets I have ever seen in a hotel room. The carpet was littered with stains. I mentioned this at checkout, response "I'll let them know". No apology, no offer of a discount, no genuine concern. Only reason we stayed here is because we had booked to Stefano's. No doubt management will respond by apologising that the room did not meet our expectations... well that would be perfect as you should not have any expectations of a clean room when you book here. Last time!

We had 2 nights in a Quality suite and the stay was pleasant. Only a queen size bed but a separate lounge area which was good. Modern bathroom and comfortable layout. We were in the central part of the hotel so very quiet. The hotel is quite close to a lot of shops and restaurants so all within walking distance and very handy. We'll be back again.

Had an overnight stay here. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, however not a big fan of shared balconies but in saying that it is not something they can fix just the way the hotel is designed. The bed was comfortable. However breakfast (which was included) was very average. Cereal, Juices and toast good but the hot side of it was disappointing. The bacon looked as if it had been boiled and there was only one style of eggs (hard poached). In hindsight should have gone out for breakfast. If I came back to Mildura, I would most likely stay elsewhere.

This old hotel is centrally located in Mildura. The room overlooked the Main Street and was adequate for an overnite stay. Breakfast was included in the rate and was in the old style restaurant. Car parking was opposite in the local car park.

Travelled from Melbourne for the weekend to celebrate friends 25th Wedding Anniversary at Jim McDougalls in Stefanos cellar. Stayed in one of the rooms with a view and a little shared balcony at the front of the hotel. It was absolutely delightful - staff were friendly and helpful, room was a good size with a nice roomy bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is an old building which has grown over time so there is a bit of wending and winding to get to rooms and there are parts that feel a little bit tired. Breakfast was included in our package and offered standard buffet style hot & cold breakfast - more than adequate. Everything you need is within easy walking distance and the hotel complex offers every a huge range of eating and drinking options.
