We chose this hotel because it was one of two options close to a friend's home for a 50th celebration. Because we were only really there to sleep for two nights between celebrations we didn't make the most of the venue, but what we did experience was great.
The room was spotless and comfortable. The bed was perfect and we slept perfectly (separate beds made together; it felt like one large bed apart from the fact that we didn't disturb one another). We had a spa room; the bathroom lighting was great (so often you don't get good mirror lighting) and full toiletries (soap, gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion) were provided.
We didn't sample the pool, gym or catering because of our circumstances so can't comment on those.
The facilities include conferencing/gala dinner rooms, pub/tab and pokies and a separate building specifically for weddings. Despite the busyness of the premises, the rooms all seemed to be separated and insulated from the potential for noise.
