“Great stay thanks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2010

My husband and I stayed for only one night . We had a really nice time in Launceston. Julie and Graham are wonderful hosts. Upon arrival we were promptly shown our room, which was quiet, tastefully decorated and very clean. All to a high standard. Julie gave us good advice on where to eat and visit and also how to navigate our way around Launceston. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Good quality and lots of it! Praise to Graham for that. Would stay again. Many thanks!

My partner and I spent a night at Kurrajong House last Sunday and as always Julie and Graham were the perfect hosts. (We stayed there last year and loved it, so we returned again).
The room was very clean and fully equipped - towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo / conditioner, hair dryer, TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, mini fridge... the list goes on.
This was the weekend that the Harley Davidson meeting was in town and although we don't mind the noise anyway, we didn't hear a thing!! It was very quiet and relaxing.
Graham and Julie always greet us with a warm smile and breakfast on Monday morning was no different. Continental & cooked breakfast was available so you'll never go hungry.
I highly recommend Kurrajong House as it's the best B&B I've ever stayed at.

Thank you very much Julie & Graham for making our stay in Launceston a memorable one. See you both on our next trip xox

Being our first time staying in a B & B we felt so welcomed by Julie and Graham who such great hosts where they cannot do enough for you. Kurrajong House is truly a home away from home where you would want for nothing. It was lovely to meet the other guests every morning while having breakfast in one of the most beautiful rooms we have ever been in. Am already planning our next trip!

Julie and Graeme were excellent hosts to us when you consider that we arrived late at night. They helped us with the preparation to give my husband's uncle the surprise of his life when we rocked up in his bedroom as soon as we arrived. A huge success!

The bedrooms were equipped with everything that you need for a short stay - 4 towels plus a hnd towel for 2 guests in a room was ample. Clean and comfortable! The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated with original drawings, paintings and crosstich - in line with the period home deco. Well done!

Breakfast was great! I had a ladies dish of English breakfast - yum. My only recommandation is maybe that breakfast time could be an hour instead of 45 minutes.

Overall, Julie and Graeme were excellent host, always with a smile on their face. I would recommend their house to everyone. I'm certainly going back!

From the minute you walk through the doors you are welcomed with open arms. Julie & Graham are the perfect hosts and make you feel like part of their family rather than guests in their house.

The rooms are very well equipped with tea & coffee making facilities (including biscuits), fridge, TV, alarm clock radio, plenty of towels, shampo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, heating... the list goes on!! Most importantly, the rooms are VERY, VERY clean.

At breakfast, Julie and Graham are always so happy to see their guests and it shows. They will happily chat to you about your day and offer many travel & sight-seeing tips as they're taking your HOT brekky order. Whilst we're on the subject of breakfast, trust me you're not going to starve here. Cereal, muesli, yogurt, fruit, bread (about 4 or 5 varieties) for toasting, juices, tea, coffee, milo are also included. Not only is all of this wonderful food provided but it's all very fresh.

We have stayed at other B&B's (In Launceston and around Australia) but this is by far our favorite. It's our second visit here and it's definitely not our last.

I highly recommend Kurrajong B&B for your stress-free stay in Launceston.

Kurrajong is a beautiful Victorian house. Stayed 1 night in the Rose Courtyard guest room. The room was comfortable and Julie is a very warm hostess. She suggested local attractions and recommended restaurants. Left the car in the house and walked to town. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Julie took the effort to introduce us to other Guests and encouraged morning holiday discussions.
Highly recommended
