“So so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2014

Services are slowed in the restaurant! We just sat down and not given a drinks menu and the waitress asked " are you gonna use this wine glasses" What a joke here!? think the food and prices in the restaurant is a bit overpriced; $3 for a piece of bread roll !?. Ordered steak which came with hand cut chips. The steak was OK but the chips are oily and soggy with some death rocket on the side.

“Great food & wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014

The entree was delicious. The main Tassie beef steak was melt in your mouth. The wine and cider were perfectly matched with the food - helped by the menu which made suggestions. The timing of the food delivery was just right. Nothing to fault and everything to like about it.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

I had a dinner and two breakfasts there. Continental breakfast was good. I loved berry smoothies. However pastries did not look freshly baked to me.
Dinner was in-room service. Great char-grilled yellow fin tuna steak with roasted vegies. Loved it. I sent a Thank you note to the chef. Recommend!

“A wonderful night.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

Staying in the motel, we decided to "eat in" so to speak. And we are so pleased we did. The staff are exceptional (as they are at reception) and there is nothing wrong with the food either. Tasty, nicely presented, good quality.

But it is the little things that make this a memorable night.
Unbeknown to me, mention of my pending 70th birthday (next day) had been made at check-in. This message had been relayed to the restaurant, where presumably the chef decided to prepare a special desert, including a small muffin with a single candle (thank goodness).

It simply was a wonderful surprise and capped of what was a very pleasant meal, with all - including the chef passing to wish me a happy birthday. It is a night I shall not forget, made special by the staff on the night and I am very grateful for their kindness.
