“Monkeys, beautiful fountain, and beautiful gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

The Japanese snow monkeys are in a sort of zoo setting. And were fun to watch their interaction. they seemed to be very happy. The gardens themselves are just beautiful, and the fountain a photographic memory

“Beautiful and relaxing walk around the park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

Well maintained park. Beautiful and relaxing walk. Our baby loved seeing the monkeys!
Had a quick bite to eat at the cafe, quick service, bit overpriced for the meals but was enjoyable. Look forward to having another walk around this wonderful park

“Beautiful park with a cute cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

The Park is not large, is located in the heart of downtown and is great for a relaxing walk. The monkey exhibit is fun. I enjoyed a few lunches at the small café in the park, where the food is fresh and good. I was fortunate to see the Tasmanian Orchestra play live in the park on one perfect evening. Most of the local residents appeared to be in attendance.

“Great way to spend 1/2 a day.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

The kids love this place. The monkey are captivating to wtach and so cheeky. Its a credit to whoever runs the park on its condition. The hydrangeas were in full bloom and such a relaxing place to spend 1/2 a day.
