“Great seafood meal would recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Staying the the Motel above the restaurant ideally placed for us, liked the menu so booked a few hours in advance, glad we did place got packed. My wife and I shared two platters (for 1) a seafood platter and a special, the special also had a variety of seafood though generally different to what was on the seafood platter, for example both had raw oysters but the special they were in vodka and wasabi (I thnk) were the seafood platter they were natural. We ordered an excellent bottle of Pinot Noir to go with it (I know red wine with seafood), which was well priced at around $35. The service was fast freindly and effiecient though we never felt rushed which is a big thing with me.

Great meal, great price, good sevice would highly recommend.

“Lovely food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

we went to this place for dinner and the food was delicious. My husband had the Tasmanian salmon while I opted to have the mixed grill which you cooked yourself. It was a fantastic idea. The staff were very friendly and knew exactly what they were talking about.
Only minor criticism is that the menus need updating having N/A written in blue Biro next to the wines that are not available looks unprofessional.
Apart from that would recommend this place

“Good food at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

Booked a table as last time we attended this restaurant we couldn't get a seat .We were seated in the back room , which was full and not too noisy.I had a hot rock mixed grill and (as I hadn't eaten like this before),I wasn't sure how to approach it. Unfortunately the waitress didn't give me any assistance and I had to rely on a nearby customer to assist. The meat was absolutely delicious both tender and tasty. Wine prices were reasonable. Overall both my partner and I enjoyed our meals and will definitely return.

“Noisy 'bat cave'.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

The food here was most delicious and the service very acceptable indeed. Pricing was also reasonably fair if you are comparing it locally.

However when booking, ask in which room you will be seated. If it is the back room, which we called the 'bat cave' beware that this may well be the children's room and if you don't want screaming, uncontrolled kids running around knocking things over etc then think again before going ahead with the booking. If you are like us and can't eat out often then you do not want to eat in this kind of environment.

Limited vegetarian options on the menu, but chef may cook to needs. Only two mains listed and of course they are the typical 'cheap to prepare' vegetarian options of a rice dish or pasta dish!! Not a lot of imagination needed. Good website though so check this out before you go if it applies to you.

Whilst we dined as a family, we had adult children with us. Not little children, but even when our children were young they did not ever act like we experienced in this kind of environment.
