Owner description: Explore the Old Launceston Seaport before cruising to Kings Wharf viewing historic vessels and Launceston's delightful riverfront precinct. The highlight of the experience is then cruising into the spectacular Cataract Gorge as we engage the Lady Launceston's unique and silent electric drive. View the sheer cliffs and cascades from your comfortable seat with unobstructed views on our multi award winning 1890's style vessel. Enjoy the skippers captivating commentary on the history of this fascinating area.

“Great little boat, terrific Captain!”

Great, short 50 minute informative cruise around the Tamar River Harbour, then up the gorge. Really informative Captain told us about it's history. Would highly recommend.

“Best place in Tassie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Spent the afternoon here recently with family and had the most wonderful time, beautifully maintained and a fabalous amenity to visit. I would highly reccommend spending some time here. So near to the city, the kids had a great time on the cable cars and walking across the suspension bridge. There is a very reasonable car park fee and the cable car journey is very reasonably priced at $15 return for an adult and only $10 for a child.

“Absolutely fantastic and peaceful on electric drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012 via mobile

To access the gorge from the maculate well presented lady Launceston 1850 steam boat replica is a step back in time. And well worth the hour tour

“Best value cruise taken for last 5 years”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

My guests from Sydney & I thought the cruse showed the full cathedral effect of the gorge cliffs They & I agreed that after walking the gorge we still needed to take the cruise so as to attain the full gorge effect. The commentary from the skipper gave us a brief history of site together with him pointing out some highlights that we would otherwise have missed & did miss on the walk The cost of $25 each represented excellent value . We all agreed that we would do the cruise again.
