“Very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

Hadn't visited Mud for dinner for a long time. It was a busy night but were served efficiently. Staff friendly. Broad selection available so something to suit all tastes. Meals were nice. Pricing wasn't bad either.

“mud....only at low tide!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Have been twice in last few months for both dinner and lunch, the dinner tariff is quite high. Although the food is good, some of the staff training needs a little help. At high tide, on a sunny day, the river is attractive and the view is pleasant, at other times I would prefer to sit indoors. The whole complex is usually busy and buzzing during good weather and in cooler times the restaurant is comfortable and tastefully decorated. If some of the staff were a little happier it would be highly recommended.

“Try here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

After a walk through Cataract Gorge, we were looking for somewhere for an inexpensive lunch, which proved a little difficult around the King's Park and Seaport area. Couldn't understand why this place was almost empty when a few eateries around the corner were full of diners. Prices at these places seemed exorbitant so we were pleased to find Mud Bar who offered lunch at realistic prices. We sat out on the deck and were served promptly by a friendly waitress who happily engaged with us. Food was well prepared, fresh tasting and very delicious, just what we were looking for.
