The first time I stayed at seawall was in the captains quarters. The bedroom spa, and bathrooms were fantastic.
The negatives were the DVD player in lounge, it was a wireless one and it was dreadful, the sound and picture quality was appalling, and u couldn't watch DVDs in the bedroom at all even though it said you could. The worst problem was the kitchen, it wasn't usable at all really. There was hardly any bench space and there was no drainage for the dishes next to the sink. I had to wash dishes and drain them on the bench. There was no oven and the hotplates built into the bench were not in a good spot. The frypan they supplied was not a non stick one and it had left over bits of food on it from a previous guest.. This room cost 379 a night and it wasn't serviced once and I was there 3 nights and I felt the room was way overpriced..
The second time I stayed was in the stern studio, it was around 165 a night. The room was nice the only issues were the spot it was in. The room got really stuffy and all the windows were where people constantly walked past. If you opened up the blinds you had no privacy at all. The kitchen also had a couple of flaws too, the frypan was dirty like in the other room and the hotplates were portable camping style ones. I'm not a fan of takeaway I prefer cooking however both rooms I stayed in made it a challenge for me..the stern studio wasn't serviced either.. I did enjoy my stay both times but I think they should either offer more things or drop their prices. : ) SS

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of your stay Chrissy6767.
We really do appreciate your feedback and actively use it to help us improve our service.
I am sorry your experience was less than fabulous and we would have loved the opportunity to rectify your problems during your stay.
Our house keepers were absolutely mortified to hear that your fry pan was not clean! Cleanliness perfection is the goal and they have taken this matter very seriously.
I do wish you had told us how important an oven was to you during your first stay, we have many different apartments with full size ovens and we would have endeavored to give you one of these had we known.
Our staff are always on hand to rectify ant issues and our housekeeping staff are always available, I am sorry if that was not made clear to you during your first stay.
I hope you will give us another opportunity. Please contact us directly and we can make sure we find the perfect apartment for you,
Kind regards and thanks,
Rachael Osborne

This place is a dream for anyone in Gleleng on holiday or business.,..My review from last year could be repeated here. Clean rooms (I stayed in a quiet Olive Mews), massive jacuzzi - all 3 steps away from the beach. Wake up early and walk barefoot to the beach and then towards Brighton to admire sunrise - very memorable. I loved this place - look no further when in Glenelg! Free WiFi internet is a bonus,

Nice homley feel by the sea. Collection of apartments in several buildings. Only 2 stories which has a much nicer feel than the other racked and stacked apartments. 2 bdroom apartment we stayed in was lovely, each room had an ensuite. Comfy beds and very quiet made for great sleeps. Would definatley stay again if in town.

We stayed here for a week in December 2011, renting the Seafront Studio apartment. We had an absolutely lovely time with the standard of the accommodation adding to the overall pleasure of our trip. The apartment was just right for two people, with a comfortable bed and great bathroom with spa bath and excellent seperate power shower. The view from the dining table was beautiful and this view was further enhanced by being able to dine outside the apartment overlooking the beach and the sea. Good onsite facilities including washing machines and tumble drier and parking. Friendly and helpful staff make this excellent place to stay.
Apartment is only a short walk from the centre of Glenelg with all its facilities and the tram to central Adelaide. I can also thoroghly recommend the nearby Holdfast Hotel as somwhere to enjoy a drink or three and have a very pleasant meal.
I cannot recommend the Sewall Aprtments highly enough. Book it.

We went there as Marrymooners, (where you have your ceremony, reception and honeymoon in one place), from the first moment on arrival we were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and neat. The staff were more than friendly and they were very happy to help with anything needed. The staff went out of their way to make our wedding even more special. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxing and a fantastic place to kick back and enjoy the beach. In walking distance of public transport, shops and restaurants. Very quiet area, well lit at night and spectacular views during the day. Highly recommended for anyone traveling or needing a place to stay down at Glenelg Beach South Australia be it for any reason. We will be staying again soon. Thank you to all the staff at Seawall Apartments. 5 stars

Room Tip: Talk to the helpful staff to get a room that suits your personal needs.

We stayed in the Captains Quarters for two nights the weekend of our sons wedding at Glenelg (4th Feb). We are so glad we did our research because it paid off - Seawall would have to be the best accomodation in Glenelg! Although the weather had turned unusually cool, it was just the best to have a nice hot spa, a glass of bubbly, soak up the amazing view then rug up & relax on the balcony. We loved the apartment so much that our plans to go out for dinner on the Sunday night were quickly put aside, instead we ordered takeaway from The Organic Pizza shop nearby & just kicked back listening to the waves rolling in.Thankyou so much for a great stay!

Room Tip: Captains Quarters would suit a honeymoon couple, family or 3 couples. Uninterrupted views of ocean

Spent 3 nights in a seafront studio apartment recently and wished we could have stayed longer. This is a lovely place and the location couldn't be better. The beachfront promenade is right out front and you are within minutes of some great Glenelg eateries.

A number of old buildings make up the Seawall apartments but if our room is any indication, they have been very tastefully and fittingly redecorated, while retaining some of the charm of yesteryear. In fact the external presentation, particularly when you enter through the rear carpark, belies the charming character of the place.

Our room, which had a fantastic view over the beach, was spacious, clean and beautifully presented.... and it represented good value. Can't ask for much more.

Room Tip: Pay a bit more for a sea view: It's worth it

Dear panther029,
Thanks for your great review of your stay with us.
The seafront studio apartment is incredibly popular and a favorite with many of our return guests.
The views are fantastic aren't they?
I'm glad you enjoyed some of the wonderful eateries in the Glenelg precinct; We are spoiled for choice with 50+ different restaurants and cafes to choose from just 500m from our door!
We hope to see you both again very soon,
All the best,
Rachael Osborne
