“Delicious Japanese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

We decided to have dinner here on a cold Monday night when everything else in the area seemed very quiet and this restaurant was nearly full. We were very happy with the choice. We went for the 8 course degustation which was just the right amount to fill you up. Our favourite courses were the Sashimi and the beef. We had sake and rice beer to accompany the meal. The bill was around $160 which is expensive but worth it for a wonderful meal.

“Not Bad Japanese But Super Expensive!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

I know the rent along the harbor there must be expensive so I'm assuming it explains the outrageous prices! Look, really nice spot to sit outside and enjoy all the area has to offer, pretty good Japanese food, pretty good service too. But we did have to wait for our meals a while and when you are going to charge double what everyone else does then you had better make sure it is absolutely spot on. Enjoyed the experience but just too pricey!

“sometimes good sometime ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

I have visited this restaurant many times because I love japanesse food and I love the marina come summer or winter.
I used to visit the restaurant when it was sumo as well.. I will say, a few things are over priced especially the sukiyuki and i think the manager always gives great service but I think it has new owners now because there seems to be more of a sales pitch which would be driven by new managment.
I will return again.

“not great value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

If the food was five star and the service was five star the price may match-it didn't .Average food, had better sashimi in the food court of a shopping centre. The mains we had were $43 and$39 as we were sharing asked three times for another plate, never arrived. If the prices were halved we would consider returning,we won't be at these prices!

Great Restaurant, excellent food. Patrick was our chef and cooked on the hot plate in front of us. We ate here twice in our 1 week stay. Would definately recommend.
