“Easy access”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

Very easy to find and not far from CBD, spent a weekend in a bowling tournament at South Towoomba bowls club, just round the corner.
Not the cheapest Motel but very clean units, everything you need, Breakfast was very good value for money. Staff very friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Would stay again maybe for the festival of flowers if it was available. Pedro

Stayed February 2014, traveled as a couple

I spent more than 4 weeks in a row in Jacaranda motel on a business trip to australia.I really enjoyed the room with all the required facilities (washing machine, led tv, air conditionning, etc) very useful when you have to stay for a long. The room is wide, large and the room service is excellent as well as the motel owner who are very cheerful and always ready to advise and help. No worries...stay in the jacaranda motel!!

Room Tip: i stayed in room 20a very quiet in the back end of the parking lot

The Jacaranda Place motel is showing its age a little, but it has all the facilities for a comfortable stopover. Our superior room had a double, and a single bed, and a reasonably well equipped kitchette, and at the price, was very good value

Room Tip: The superior rooms have kitchenettes, and rooms at the rear are well away from highway noise

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2011

At the end of a long and tiring day of driving we arrived in Toowoomba on a Saturday afternoon of the second weekend of the Carnival of Flowers (oops, must keep that in mind next time) to find that there was almost no room available at any establishment. Most motels were showing 'no vacancy' and the three which had rooms vacant were less than satisfactory. Dark, dingy and for the most part managed by less than friendly staff, they made us decide to keep driving, hoping for a miracle. And we found one. Greeted by the very friendly Julie and Keith from NZ (Christchurch) we were assured that a room was available and that we were very welcome to stay. And how pleased we were with everything. The room we were given (the last one available as it turned out - you can be lucky sometimes) was extra large, featuring a new and comfortable king size bed, replete with fresh, white bed linen, numerous pillows and a very cosy blanket, all finished off by a most attractive bedspread. I was very happy to note the presence of a sparkling mattress protector and the pillows, plump and comfy, were also sporting cotton protectors. The kitchen proved to be well provisioned, with a full size fridge, cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery and all the other items which would make it so easy to stay longer than overnight at moderate cost rather than eating out. Timber venetian blinds on all windows ensured that the early sunrise didn't disturb our slumbers and the air conditioner, a whisper quiet Mitsubishi, kept any traffic noise from Ruthven street at bay.The bathroom, which was large and well laid out, had a very good size shower recess and plenty of hot water available. Clean hair dryer, soft and generous size towels and pleasant soaps and shampoos added to the feeling that the owners paid attention to the comfort of their guests. The appearance of the entire place, from front desk onwards was evidence of the care and hard work put in by these two Kiwis who had to leave their home in Christchurch after the earthquake. NZ's loss is our gain in this instance and I only hope that the owners are aware of how fortunate they are to have them managing the property. The grounds are extensive and the gardens most attractive. There's a swimming pool and a guest laundry (always a welcome sight when one is on the road for a while). We took the opportunity to view some of the other rooms and were amazed at the size and variety of layout available.A family of 6 could easily stay here without falling over one another and the inclusion of a dining area and more than adequate kitchen facilities would make catering a breeze. We would stay here again, and without hesitation recommend it to friends or others looking for a moderately priced, comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay in Toowoomba.

Room Tip: Do ask for the large room upstairs - I think it was added on for the owners and it's both spacio...
