Food at Yamagen is OK. Sushi and Sashimi not of the highest quality but nonetheless tasty. Agadashi Tofu a little rubbery on the outside however our friends thoroughly enjoyed their Sukiyaki which was prepared at the table. The restaurant has a few different sections - we chose to eat at the a la carte dining area as we weren't after Teppenyaki theatrics. Some background music would have added a little more atmosphere to our section. Service was excellent and drink prices good too. Asahi on tap which is always great. Do visit, but don't expect too much.
