We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As this is the only poor review we have ever had, we would like to respond to your concerns. First of all, the light bulbs. The unit had been occupied before you and it appears that there were 4 bulbs stolen out of the fittings and yes 1 bulb was faulty. These were replaced within 1/2 hr of your arrival. 2nd, the fan remotes. Yes all units have a remote that controls the lights and fans. 3rd, the dryer. The dryer door hing is slightly damaged but the dryer is fully operational. 4th, washing mach. We could see no evidance of water or dirt, just a few scatches which you would expect given its a holiday unit. 5th, shower door. Slight black mark at very bottom. It has now been retified. 6th TV remote. batteries replaced. 7th, Bed Bugs. This is of a major concern and when we were told about it, we responed straight away. As by chance and as we pointed out to you in the foyer, there was a pest control man here doing his 3 month inspection of the outside grounds. He went immediatly after your departure and checked. He found NO evidance of bugs at all of any kind anywere ! So if there were bites, it was probably form the beach. Sand Flys are very common. 8th, Phone book. Sorry about that, it should have been removed as we no longer supply phone books. We are trying to do our bit for the enviroment and found that guests do most of their searching online and the phone book is just about obselite. 9th, The carpet. Yes there is a few slight stains here and there, but nothing that is not expected given its a holiday unit. The carpets are regulary steamed cleaned and this was done only a few weeks ago. Most of our units are tiled but some guests prefer carpet. 10th, Plug. Replacements are avalible from reception, or can be delivered to your unit within 5 min. Last of all, we are not a 5 star resort and we belive that we offer excelent value for money and dont charge a fortune. We market ourselves as a family freindly budget holiday resort. As as per all the other reviews, we believe our resort is one of the best in the area and offers a fantastic location combined with a great complex and faclilites. Thanks for Miami Beachside.
