Stayed here as 3 adults anyone child in a two bedroom on level 15. Fantastic view! We all loved looking out towards Surfers every morning. The staff were lovely and very helpful! The location is great for shops, restaurants, buses, playgrounds and the beach. The pool is lovely although a small area. Keep in mind the hotel is next to the Coolangatta Hotel and so thurs-sat nights it is very noisy until early hours of the morning, but perhaps not so bad if the doors are all closed, but then you miss out on the lovely seabreeze.
The first thing I noticed was no digital tv! Now you may think, wow you're picky! But having one 4yo this is essential for mornings and evenings as she has no siblings to play with. When calling and asking staff if there was a DVD or possibility of digital tv, they promptly moved us into another room with digital tv, fantastic! Now located on the 11th floor, still with amazing views we were a happy family.
The rooms are a bit tired, I would rate them no more than 3.5 star. Having been in 2x rooms the furniture is a little worn and the bathrooms are stained and mouldy. The cleaning staff do an excellent job, but there's only so much you can do after a certain amount of years.
Overall, great for families with a full kitchen and being opposite the beach.
