“Another wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

This would be our 5th stay at Reflections Tower Two & as usual everything was just fine.

We stayed for 17 nights on the 7th floor in an apartment which we had stayed in before (we actually requested this apartment as we loved it so much). It was a 2 bedroom apartment with of course wonderful views (as they all have).

The kitchen was well stocked with top of the range appliances. Comfortable lounges, three TV's (only used one) & a great balcony. Very comfortable beds & although a little noisy on the street of a Friday & Saturday night it is still the 'only' place to stay in Coolangatta.

Good restaurants, cafes, shops, etc at your doorstep. Woolworths & Aldi supermarkets within easy walking distance. The building is located between two surf clubs & a hotel all serving good meals. Twin Towns RSL club is also very close by. Great bus service - you don't really need a car.

We were able to 'whale watch' from our balcony which was an added bonus.

Managers Denise & Kevin are most helpful & nothing is a problem.

We certainly hope to return next year.

We stayed he for two nights in July 2012. Hard to find fault. It's well located being right opposite the beach. Our unit had a superb ocean view. Kitchen was perfectly adequate. Master bedroom and ensuite good size and in good condition. The other two rooms shared a bathroom but that worked well. Parking was excellent. Coolangatta in winter is a little cool but that's to be expected. Local cafes good but other shops showing signs of a tight economy in winter. Price was a little steep but all in all a good property well worth the visit.

This review is really overdue as we stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean facing apartment in October 2011 for my partners birthday. The apartment is gorgeous, right across the road from the beach. It's very spacious and a the lounge/dining area separates the main bedroom from the second bedroom there's plenty of privacy. If you want you can take a bath in the spa or shower and look out at the ocean from the bathroom which was lovely (as clear glass separates the bedroom from the ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom.)
Bed was comfortable and had good nights sleep however if you like a nice dark room if sleeping off a habgiver I would not recommend, as a lot of light gets through the roller blinds and we were awoken to sunlight in the room at 5:30am each day but this didn't ruin our stay.
The kitchen is big, modern and fully equipped with a full size fridge.
The pool is quite chilly but good size and length for doing laps. Could benefit from a few extra sun lounges as there were only about 3.

We would return for a longer stay next time. Coolangatta is such a lovely area of the coast and this apartment is a very comfortable "home away from home".

Just spent a week in a 2bed apartment on the 5th floor, with stunning sea views from a huge balcony. Apartment was extremely spacious and clean, and loved having 2 bathrooms. Only criticism really was that despite a gourmet kitchen with beautiful appliances, it was very poorly stocked, without even a decent kitchen knife or even soup bowls (we had to go out and buy some!). Also only one couch in huge living area not really sufficient for 2 couples and not terribly comfortable. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay.

My husband and I spent seven days here - our first visit to Coolangatta. It won't be our last! We stayed on Level 11 and the view when we opened the door was unbelievebale - we certainly didn't tire of the full sea vista and the fabulous sunsets. It was July but my husband still swam! The apartment was clean and modern with Miele appliances and everything of a high standard. Having a bath while looking at that magnificent view was a daily treat! Wonderful walks, fabuous cafes and eateries - all at your fingertips. We like different TV shows so the only down side was no second TV. This just meant more reading!! We will definitely return and would recommend this property to everyone.

Room Tip: We really enjoyed Level 11 so I would suggest a higher rather than a lower level. I didn't check...

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Reflections tower 2. It is a perfectly positioned, near-new complex right across from the beach. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and well equipped, with premium appliances in the kitchen. Our balcony had great views of the beach, we could see all the way out to Surfers Paradise on the horizon. Being north facing we had beautiful sunshine all day long.
The facilities were excellent and well maintained. The pool and spa area would be perfect on a warm summers day. A highlight was the thearette, it was such a treat to have our own private movie theatre!
All in all a great stay and would highly receommend. After many years of staying further north where all the "action" is, it was so nice to stay in the relative peace and quiet of Coolangatta!

Room Tip: even the lower level ocean view apartments have spectacular views!

My husband and I stayed there at Ref Tower 2. on the 8th Floor, I love high floors, but on the eighth, one could actaully see clearly all that was going on below, plus the most geogeous view, in prospective, not like little ants. The apartment was really lovely, clean and well presented, a couple of minor cleaning details that could have been a bit better, for the cost. The overall comfort is just wonderful, very quiet great outdoor Balcony. Resturants, food outlets, shopping Clubs, walks that are really beautiful, everything that you would want for a peaceful holiday. The actuall Managers are really great, and most helpful, good car parking. You do not have to take the car out, everything is with in walking distance. I am about to go down there again in the next week, and I can not wait. It is just so beautiful there, I would never go back to the Gold Coast Ever. Or even Broadbeach. This is the Place to go. Refelctions 2 at Coolangatta.

Room Tip: Just have fun and enjoy, remembering that there are other familes in the same complex, do not be noi...
