“Lovely fresh food cooked beautifully.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2009

Admittedly I have only been here for wedding receptions so I do not know the full extent of the menu, cuisine, prices etc. but I have to say the food and service I have experienced was great. Really fresh produce and cooked well.

I think that catering for wedding receptions would be more stressful than during normal lunch and dinner service so potentially you are seeing a venue at its worse...
Amanda's on the Edge sailed through with flying colours!

Enjoy!

“Home cooked meals in the heart of Hunter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2009

Reservation is a must! Do not arrive between 3-6pm as the kitchen is preparing for the eve service. Kids love playing outside while we finish our desert. The menu is awesome!!! http://www.amandas.com.au/

Loved it!

“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2008

Had a lovely meal at Amanda's on the edge. We arrived too late for the views but the food was fantastic.

The restuarant was quite relaxed and inside it was quite rustic, filled with animated conversations, despite it being a Tuesday in Spring.

Food-wise we couldn't fault a thing. The cheese plate was actually so big that we brought half of it home with us, as it was so tasty.

Starters were arounf $20 and mains around $30+, so not cheap - but we considered it relatively good value for money. Especially compared to the other similarly priced restaurants we visited.

Highly recommend, but next time we'll be there in time for the sunset views!!

“Fan of the Hunter and Amanda's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2008

Don't let the sun set on your Hunter experience without a visit to this local staple! Amanda's is always a treat - great views, terrific service, beautiful food, always served with a smile. Pick a nice seat, pick a good wine and enjoy the serenity....

“Consistantly Brilliant Food & Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2008

Being a regular visitor to the Hunter a meal at Amanda's is always on the itinerary.

Consistantly great food with a menu always taking full advantage of the local fresh Hunter Valley produce available.

Service is always promt and a favourite is Michelle the waitress, always cheeful and very professional, unlike some other snobby, unco-operative waitresses you can come across.

Amanda has a great head chef in Sara, and can be very proud of her outstanding apprentices, who are the backbone of this restaurant.

Amanda's is great value for money in the times when dining out can be a huge drain on the back wallet.

Well done to the team at Amanda's
