Three couples stayed a couple of nights in a three-bedroom villa. Overall, it provided a good base of operations for our visit to the Hunter Valley.
The good: Nice layout to the villa, big lounge room and kitchen, bedrooms upstairs, and a large balcony looking out over a lawn where we saw wallabies and rabbits frolicking. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The bad: The resort is huge and spread out - we were almost a ten minute walk from the resort centre containing the restaurant and bar (although if you phone reception, they'll shuttle you to and from your room in a minivan). Dinner at the restaurant, while very good, was very slow to arrive despite it not being terribly busy, and there were a couple of mistakes with the order and the bill.
Overall: good certainly outweighed the bad, and it was a very comfortable, well-appointed and reasonably priced place to stay while touring the Hunter's wineries.
