“Lovely BB in a lovely setting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

This is the first bed and breakfast we have stayed at and we were pleasantly surprised. Willow tree estate is situated on a lovely property with its own small dam and well maintained garden. There is an abundance of small wildlife around including kangaroos and rabbits.

Our spa room was very spacious and the lady who runs the place was always very friendly and helpful. The continental Breakfast was light and provided a wide selection to choose from. The only problem was that it was only available between 0830 - 9am.

Don't come here if you want a modern and fancy hotel like experience but if you want to be relaxed, escape to the country and feel like home then this the place to stay . It's in a great location, close to lots of great restaurants too.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your stay, we appreciate the feedback. You have written a very accurate summary of our Estate. Just one clarification, the breakfast is actually on from 8:30am - 9:30am and cleared at 10am. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Regards
Raylee

My sister and niece and myself stay at the willow tree estate for three night for CMC RocksThe Hunter. It was absolutely wonderful ,the rooms were immaculate, the surrounding were breath taking and what you see on the web page is what they deliver. Raylee was extremely warm and friendly and made you feel so at home, she has a great knowledge of the area and was very helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending The Willow Tree Estate as wonderful place to stay and we will return for sure

Room Tip: look at there web page

We stayed at Willow Tree Estate last weekend 8th and 9th March, as we were jointly celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary and attending a Neil Young Concert at Bimbadgen Estate.

Willow Tree Estate was just lovely. We found our host Raylee to be very warm, welcoming and helpful with advice on places to visit in the Hunter Area.

We stayed in The Summer House which is separate from the main house and was delightful, clean, spacious and private. It had a very romantic feel and to sit outside sipping wine and enjoying a cheese platter whilst watching the local kangaroos, was a real pleasure.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Willow Tree to my friends and family.

Room Tip: The Summer House is particularly lovely if you are wanting privacy and space.

My husband and I stayed at Willow Tree Estate for our 10 year wedding Anniversary. It was absolutely beautiful, exactly what we were hoping and more from our Hunter valley stay. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful, over looking lake and vineyards. Raylee was so friendly and acommadating during our stay. This has to be the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and we have stayed at many well known 5 star hotels. Breakfast was nice and enough for us as we had lunch and dinner booked at The Verandah and Margen's Estate which were both lovely. When will definately be returning here for our next Hunter valley stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in The Monet

We stayed here over the valentines weekend with a group of 3 couples. Such a beautiful homely place to stay, breakfasts were fantastic, freshly made scones with jam & cream were amazing & we're hoping to make a return trip in the next few months. My favourite part was waking up in the morning, soooo peaceful! Thanks so much for such a memorable weekend away!!!

Raylee and her Mother were excellent hosts. Raylee even made us lovely scones accompanied by jam and cream, which we much appreciated as we come from England. We would certainly stay here again if we come back to the Hunter Valley sometime in the future. Roger and Pauline.

Room Tip: we were in French room which had a lovely view
