It's nice to bump into a chef that is trying to be different and stand out. We just popped in one Thursday night and found a little gem of the hunter.
The menu is interesting (if you are interested in food), the service was polite and informed.
Don't come here wanting steak and chips, or tempura fish there are a bucket load of other places in the hunter that do that. Pork cooked 2 ways, pigeon wrapped in nori with pickled veggies. The food is good and obviously effort and thought has gone into it. Somethings didn't work as well the potatoes, Rosemary and toffee didn't quite hit the mark for us but we still enjoyed trying it. Overall an excellent experience. Keep it up
