“A must for breakky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

Quirky cafe with great coffee & yummy breakfast. Awesome selection of cakes too. They've even got perfumes in the toilet you can use. Lots of nice touches

“Great coffee Great vibe - a cafe with real personality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

We have only discovered this spot recently and just love it! The coffee is great quality and served efficiently even though it is always busy. The atmosphere is great with a quirky decor and lots of special personal touches. The owner wandered around on Sunday morning offering Easter eggs to everyone. Now that's hospitality! Some tables for groups to sit at inside and also small tables and window seats and outdoor seating to watch to world go by. What a great transformation from the sterile Gloria jeans it once was. Love it!

“Good lunch, good coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

Interesting space in Newcastle's main drag serving a reasonable lunch menu and first class coffee. If you could only control the Aussie fly, it would be perfect.

“Best breakfast in Newcastle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

This cafe has become a regular. Fabulous coffee and a very relaxed vibe. Love the smashed avo with sour dough- comes with two poached eggs and 2 large sour dough slices plus rocket. All for $15. It's so big we share it. They even serve it on two plates for us! I usually sit outside but love the piano and chandelier. These guys have nailed breakfast in Newcastle.

“cool place, quality and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

Best banana bread ever, quality coffee and frappe. The place is cool, situated in Hunter St, enjoy watching the world go by. The cafe is well visited by tourists, local's and surfer dudes. Decor is as cool as the staff is friendly. Would highly recommend.
