firstly the front office staff are delightful! truly a credit to the hotel. We were checked in without a fuss and as there were 3 of us we got 2 rooms right next to each other.
being previously a local, i knew the closest location for shopping dining etc, my partner and a friend were newer and the front desk lady (i feel bad i didnt get here name) took the time to show them where they were and when the bar they had heard about was in proximity!
Rooms are standard, though comfortable. slept, showered and thats about all we did in those rooms and it did the job perfectly.
The only downside was breakfast. $50 for 3 buffets, which had a limited choice and was fairly cold.
charges apply for parking, but its inner newcastle, just pay it, better than it dissappearing during the night. Secure.
