Another good stay at an Ibis.
Not perfect, for example the window in my room doesn't close perfectly (but at least it can be opened which is always nice to have that option), and for some reason the Fox Sports 2 channel doesn't work and I'm guessing that's the channel that The Ashes was playing on and I would have liked to watch some of that.
However the internet station near reception is free (I'm using it right now!) and the overall price was pretty good. Lots of TV channels. Everything in the room worked except the slightly wonky window. The bathroom area was quite cool, it's like a little space age pod that has been fitted in the corner of the room. The design & layout of the room makes it quite functional and probably seemed a bit bigger than it really is.
It's near one of the city train stations (Wickham I think?) and there is the shopping centre about a block away. Various takeaway places fairly close and you can always dine at the hotel if you don't want KFC/Maccas/Pizza.
