“HORRIBLE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

Horrific service. I went on a thursday night and the young girl had here hair out and was not well presented. I reserved a table and was ushered into a makeshift one at the back of the resturant after waiting 15 minutes to be seated. It took so long for anyone to take my order and i waited almost an hour for it to come out. When it did it was cold, the chicken was barely cooked and the vegitables i paid extra for was nothing more than a few strips of carrot and a potato. Never going back again!

“I'm sure they could do better”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2011

6 of us booked a Saturday night dinner here on the recommendation of another friend.
The restaurant is located within a Sports/Bowling Club but managed independently as far as I know.
The menu was an attractive mix and themed Italian. There were ample staff and customers. It certainly looked encouraging. The seafood basket caught the eye of 4 of us, even though it was pricey by local standards ($30).
However this particular meal was most disappointing despite the excellent appearance. Two scampi on top, battered fish, crumbed squid rings, some large prawns (shrimp), a scallop and some other bits on a bed of French Fries and a little salad.
Scampi are probably one of the best seafood delicacies to be enjoyed in this part of the world. They turned out to be barely warm and almost frozen in parts. The fries were lukewarm at best and had probably been standing around longer than we were in the restaurant. After pointing out the problem to the staff, and having bits of raw scampi scattered on our side plates, they took the plates away and returned them shortly after with the pieces re-heated to a rubbery consistency. It was not possible to tell which bits where who's at this stage. So by and large we left the meals uneaten.
We skipped on offers of dessert but two of us ordered cappuccino and a flat white. These turned out to be grey in colour, and undrinkable as well.
We had made no great fuss to the staff of our disappointment at the time.
Perhaps the chef was away, but it was a Saturday night. Prime time.
This is the first time that I have ever returned a meal to the kitchen in 30 years. So this is not a grouch review, just a heads up on a very forgettable experience.
Guys, I'm sure with all the staff you have there that you could do much better than this.Judging by the numbers attending you usually do.
