4 adults stayed at Bulwarra for 5 nights, and it proved to be the perfect place to relax as well as base ourselves to sight see. The accommodation is very well presented, clean and comfortable and with plenty of outside areas to use. Judy, our hostess, also runs a wildlife rescue service, which adds to the interest if you like bottle feeding young wallaroos....we did, and in the comfort of sitting by the open fire in the outside entertaining area. We had catered meals a couple of nights (Judy is a great cook and has a lovely veggie garden), as well as using the BBQ another night. Dubbo is only a short drive to many great restaurants, a couple of wineries, shopping and lots of great walks. A highlight for us was the zoo, just a few minutes drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our escape at Bulwarra and would recommend it to " like individuals" who want to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
