“Great for weddings & everything in between”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013 via mobile

I come here often for meals, drinks and a bet on pokies or horses. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. And yes, sometimes it gets very busy and you have to wait a little while to be served, but being that busy, what does that tell you? They are busy because they are popular as they organise so many diverse function events that attract a great crowd! I also had my wedding reception here. Staff and management cater for your every needs and even make exceptions on a regular basis. For example, the functions manager bought us drinks as we were setting up for my wedding and even kept original arrangements made to us by a previous manager when we booked that had been changed since that time! Very friendly, helpful and organised. Meals are low in price and great value plus delicious! And if you don't fancy a big meal, just snack on a toasted sandwich anytime for just $1!

“Great pub atmosphere expect to wait on weekends if not prebooked”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013 via mobile

We went to another pub first but the food looked very average so went here instead and was happy we changed venues. The salmon was beautifully cooked with fresh veges. The steak was very tasty although quite a grissly piece of meat for price paid. Had to wait 45 mins. Would try it again though and book ahead of time & get there earlier.

“Great Food. Wonderful Atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Ate both our night time meals here as it was so good the first night. Second night the kids ate for free. Beautiful fire place kept us toasty warm. Well sized meals. Will return.

“Good steak.. We started the night elsewhere, walked out and ended here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

Had the steak, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Weak wine list. But would come back.. The best part they are open on a Sunday. From what we found this is the best option

“Too expensive for what you get.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Nice but way too expensive. Food is ok but the cost is huge!

The menu is rather basic and the service is way too slow than it costs way too much!
