“Very good motel here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013 via mobile

This simply has to be an excellent motel in Broken Hill. The family room was very spacious and well appointed. Situated towards the rear of the motel there was no road noise from the highway at all. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. A lovely, friendly welcome with helpful information offered. We stayed in one of the two cabins and found it quite cosy and well appointed. It was the quiet season, so not busy, which suited us! The gardens were very well maintianed. We didn't get to see too much of Broken Hill as we were only using it as a sleeping base. We did a day trip down to Menindee Lakes, Menindee and Kinchega National Park, then the following day went to the Outback Border Stampede in Cockburn on the SA border. Touring around Broken HIll will have to wait for another visit. Dined one night at Mr Pickwicks Restaurant and the second night at The Musicians Club. Both great dining venues. Loved the live music at the Muso's Club! We'll be back and will definately stay here again.

I previously stayed in this motel in 2010, and was impressd with it that I stayed again in July 2012. The room was well-sized and appointed, and clean.

I would highly recommend this motel when stopping in Broken Hill.

My friend and I stayed here on the 29th March on our way to Adelaide. I think this motel is a little gem just on the outskirts of broken hill on the adelaide road and easily found. It has around 20 rooms and 2 cabins, We had cabin 22 which was on a nice plot. On one side of the cabin was hardstanding for the car and it also had a table and four chairs plus a garden bench for us to sit out and eat and wasnt overlooked by anyone else. The other side of the cabin was laid out to a decent sized piece oif garden with a small palm tree and plants and was exceptionally tidy. The cabin had a double and one single bed and had everything we could need in the kitchen. Everything in the cabin was lovely and clean including the beds and bathroom. The owner/manager in reception was polite and helpful and they had a large selection of continental breakfast items, including milk, that could be purchased if required. The other side of reception was another large well kept garden including a decent sized pool which also was very clean and we enjoyed a swim. Next to the pool was a large pergola with a bbq and smart tables and chairs for about 12 people. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this motel...Broken Hill has plenty of places to eat including fast food restaurants.

Great for an overnight stay on the way to our interstate holiday, on the highway but didn't notice traffic noise, did have a back room. Booked a family room (upgrade) on the internet, very spacious with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Travelled with 2 children (aged 11 and 13) who made good use of the pool in the afternoon. Laundry was available. Some distance from the centre of town, but some eating places offered a courtesy bus. Would stay here again for sure.

Room Tip: Family upgrade room was great for our family of 4.

$84 for a double room but it was quite small with only a double bed rather than a queen. I'm sure I could have paid more for a larger room but for that price I'd expect it. It was clean and well maintained but there was some road noise being at the front and the air con was amazingly loud meaning that we were kept awake by noise or by the heat. Not my best night's sleep.

We stayed here Sept 27 / 28, 2011, and found it to be a comfortable and adequate place to rest the head.
Friendly staff, clean and easy parking make this a good place to recommend to others. We actually had a room to the rear of the establishment, so it was quite quiet.
A continental breakfast was provided and we ate out in the township.
