We dined at Redcliff on a recommendation and found the dishes we chose a little disappointing. The venison was not 'melt in your mouth' as expected and the salmon was over cooked. The dishes were well presented and accompaniments tasty. The service was too slow - to advertise that the service is to be expected to be slow is simply an excuse to use limited staff. It was full when we dined and they only used two waitresses plus one, with other duties, to service the customers. We had to ask for water, drinks and the bill and went to the cash register to pay after waiting for a long time. Such a shame as it has the potential to be so much better.
