“Top food cart”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

This food caravan takes top place for casual food in Te Anau. The fish, especially the Blue Cod is to die for. Have now been back several times and will continue to do so when here. Delightful couple who own and manage, they always have a kind word. Highly recommend, good value for money.

“Don't go past the blue cod!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We stopped in here to refuel our tummies on our return drive to Queenstown from Milford Sound. I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and really wanted a piece of blue cod while in the deep South. The fish (and chips) here did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, crisp and lightly battered and delicious. Just the thing for a chilly evening on the road. I highly recommend this fantastic food truck.

“Fresh fish as it should be!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

We first visited this awesome food cart a few years ago when they just started this business, and had a good impression with their food. This time we saw a good feedback on here and thought we will have to have meal from them again. Glad we did, fresh fish, crispy battered, not too greasy. On top of that, the taste was amazing!

“Fantastic fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

We ate here for lunch while in Te Anau and enjoyed the (blue cod) fish and chips so much that we returned two days later to get dinner to take back to our hotel. It was inexpensive and tasted amazingly fresh - even better than the fish and chips we've gotten in Sydney. This is a great option for when you return from a long day visiting Milford Sound. We have young kids and they enjoyed it as well. They have a lot of options but they were also willing to talk me through the difference between the different fish options (blue cod is tastier but slightly more expensive). He also talked me into a smaller amount of chips instead of selling me two big bags. I appreciated that.

“Luv the blue cod fush n chups in nuzulund heh bro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Whilst doing the south island holiday last year we enjoyed various fish n chip meals around the places we visted, Akaroa, Invercargill, Te Anau, Queenstown etc. I love the blue cod you guys serve over there - The Mainly Seafood van at Te Anau was a treat and what a great spot to enjoy a meal by the lake.
Ate there a couple of times.
Going back over the dicth again this year to Bay of Islands and hoping for more Blue Cod there -
