“Nice and warm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

We stayed in the purple unit with 3 girls so we all had our own space, the place was nice and warm with a heater in each room and electric blankets on all beds, extra blankets also and double glazed windows with block out curtains. Clean and tidy and good off street parking.
Super quiet and great outdoor area, not that we needed it in the snow. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Negatives: No oven to cook, just stove top and grill microwave. (Camp does have ovens you can use).
Very squeaky bathroom door.
Mirrors not in all rooms.

Thanks for the feedback, the bathroom door has been looked at by our maintenance team and no longer squeaks! We do have Motel Apartments that have full kitchens with ovens, you’ll have to try one of these out next time you stay, I think you’ll like these too!
Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our winter wonderland!

Stayed here for three nights in a campervan. The place was quiet and close to town (about 5 minute walk). There were two supermarkets across the street so everything was really convenient. The facilities were kept clean and tidy and the water in the showers was nice and hot. There are a funky looking outdoor kitchen / BBQ area towards the back of the park that was made from recycled materials like 30 old taps welded together as an artwork. Staff were very friendly including the groundsmen who helps us empty our waste. Would stay here again.

We are definitely a unique park when it comes to our funky recycled art! And we are always adding to it so there might be something even funkier next time you stay!
Our grounds team are a great friendly bunch and always happy to lend a hand. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels!

This is our second time coming to the Top 10 holiday Park, and probably our millionth time coming back to Queenstown. However, last time we came as a couple and this time with friends to enjoy Queenstown.

I like the place but I have to say that we arrived at 7:30 pm after a tiring 5 hour drive in the dark with fog (which slowed down our drive as we were driving to the conditions), and we were very tired, but excited to be there. We were welcomed by a very nice young girl, but close to her was an older lady working at the reception who said that "probably we should be charged a few dollars more for arriving late". We were a mix of New Zealanders and foreigners that night, and this is our second time coming to the Top 10. We thought that that welcoming sentence was not nice at all, and makes us questioning the fact of coming back to the Top 10 in Queenstown and keep advicing this place to all the foreign and local people we usually give our advice to.

The blue room was nice though, and I still like the place and the location. Just a message to the receptionist who made the comment: please be more careful to welcome guests with those comments, as we were excited, yet tired, to finally be in Queenstown, and it was a bit upsetting to welcomed that way. To the younger receptionist, who turned on the heater for us and welcomed us in a very friendly way: THANK YOU! :)

Thank- you for your honest feedback. My collegue is very sorry that you were made to feel unwelcome, her comment was meant as a joke and she was very sorry it didn’t come across that way, she sends her apologies to you and your friends.
As you have seen when you have stayed before we are friendly and helpful bunch and would love for you to stay with us again next time you visit.
The Blue Unit has just had some new furniture so great to hear you found it a nice place to stay.

We stayed there for two nights, and it was painful for our wallet. We stayed in a camper but on a not-powered site and it was 3 times the price we had payed in most holiday parks through NZ. The facilities were clean, but not more so than other places.
The Wi-Fi was equally expensive, and the reception desk closed earlier than in most holiday parks.
We do not intend to go back there, for this reason. Even though, the place was clean, the facilities as well, and it is well situated. (walking distance of the city center)

It is close to town and convenient store. Only about 10-15 minutes walk. The staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed in a motel unit with 2 bed rooms which is quite large and comfortable. We went there when the weather was so cool. The rooms were warm . The bathroom was clean and had enough hot water.

I'm not a camper so was a little hesitant when we decided to do South Island NZ in a Kea Campervan in April 2013. We ended up staying mostly in Top 10 Holiday Parks. There were alittle more expensive but the trade-off was cleanliness which I'll take any day. Creeksyde was conveniently located a short walk to downtown Queenstown, Cooking and bathroom facilities were impressively clean. I loved the quirkiness of the buildings. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous.

We visited here at a quiet time of the year and picked a quiet camper-van spot close to the toilets. This is a cute little place, especially considering it's a very short (~5-10 minutes) stroll into Queenstown central. My only negative were the low number of toilets for people to use especially as some of them were standalone cubicals which meant if you were washing your face / brushing your teeth, the toilets could not be used by anyone else.
