This is a "boutique" hotel, but lacked charm and comfort. The best thing it has going for it is the location, which was great. The room was fairly small, and although it looked good it was impractical. The bathroom in particular was a problem. The shower nozzle was unable to be adjusted or directed, and there was no bench space on which to place toiletries etc. The hotel floors were all wood, and although the bathroom floor was heated the rest of the room was rather cold. There was little warmth and cosiness about this room. Although it wasn't a terrible experience, we couldn't think of any reason to stay here again if we return to Queenstown.
