The room was about average in size, but very clean and had great views. There was a TV, DVD player and a fridge. There were also plates and glasses if you want to bring in takeaway from nearby restaurants.
Biggest convenience here for us was the location. Just a short walk down the steps across the street to the main part of Queenstown with tons of restaurants and activities. It's also just a few blocks from the base of the Skyline gondola.
Staff:
Very friendly folks here. Our first day was a rainy one, and we were given plenty of suggestions for rainy day activities. The day we left, we were set up with a shuttle to the airport and it was billed to our room in our home currency (US dollars).
Internet:
There is a PC avaiable downstairs, but we brought our own laptop and the wireless here wasn't very good. There were cards avaiable for 24 hours of wireless internet for $15 NZD, but the connections were extremely slow and unreliable. We were able to send emails and post a few pictures, but I woudln't rely on this for voice confernecing like Skype.
Other amenities:
A guest laundry is avaiable, but we didn't wind up using it. There are also kitchen facilities, but we never used those either since we were so close to great restaurants and takeaway places.
One note:
It looks like there's some construction going on across the street. We never heard anything and it didn't bother us at all, but I'm wondering if once it's done it will block the view of the rooms on the lower floor.
