Feels like a locals place - handily open 7 days. Serves good coffee and food and is reasonably priced. It is a little hidden away, but that's no bad thing. Decor is contemporary. I'm thinking this place was great in it's day and still has heaps of potential to get back up to scratch, feels a little lacking in the small things eg bacon is barely cooked and very oily - kind of lazily cooked and let's down what is otherwise a good breakfast. Having said that, the eggs are always amazing (I'd love to know where they get them from!). Muffins are delicious as are the rolls and slices. The menu chalkboard looks a little slap dash with various people writing all over it, making it hard to read and lets down what is a funky little space. Perhaps printed menu's at the counter or on the tables? We go there 1 - 2 times per week, most of the time the service is good - however, there is one young girl who has never raised a smile and seems to dislike most aspects of her job - making her stand out from the rest for all the wrong reasons.
