“What A VIEW!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This was such an amazing hotel! Great service and stunning views out to the remarkables. The lake view rooms are just stunning. Heated floors made me excited to get back to the room every afternoon. The breakfast needed a bit of updating as there was only 6 things to choose from and they weren't all that good but other than that everything was pretty amazing! Only a 10-15 min walk to town but it does have free parking if you have a car.It also has a free shuttle if you don't fancy the walk. Love Love Love it!

Room Tip: Lake View Rooms are amaizng!

We stayed at the Rees Hotel for 8 nights and was very impressed with our views from the executive suite; as well as the service from hotel staff. The staff were wonderful with their tips and expert advice from dining to activities (thanks Lucas, Nathan and Sharon). We absolutely valued the shuttle service and altogether had a fantastic time. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed as a family of six for 5 nights to celebrate mom's birthday. We took a 3 room apartment which was huge and very luxurious. The view depends on whether you get a lake front unit or inner unit which gets the mountain view. We got the mountain view unit which was just as nice.

The reception area has a great view of the lake. Breathtakingly beautiful!

However everything comes with a price. The 5 nights cost us almost NZD 3,000. It was worth the experience and occasion.

Lovely toiletries and thoroughly cleaned everyday.

Do be careful if you park at the car park which is a little steep and narrow.

Highly recommend this hotel especially if you want to celebrate something memorable.

Room Tip: Get lake front rooms

I stayed here for seven nights and enjoyed every moment. The beds were comfortable, the food was amazing and the staff exceptional. In the middle of this week I left for 2 days to go to another city. Upon my return the staff recognised me and greeted me warmly. They stored my large luggage while I was away.
I had a room on the water with a fantastic view and a room with a partial view which was as good. I ate all three meals here for a week and it was exceptional, well prepared and a variety of offerings.
The hotel offers a free shuttle to downtown Queenstown and that was helpful as the taxis charge different prices for the same route.
They helped me with reservations for other shuttles, locations and more.
This is a 5 star resort.

Room Tip: Ask for a water view on floors 3 or 4

A beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of the lake. The rooms are spacious, very clean and with some luxurious touches.

My only criticism would be for the price we paid I was pretty disappointed breakfast wasn't included, usually that goes without saying at 5 star hotels.

Overall, a great hotel.

Booked The Rees for our 30th wedding anniversary following a recommendation from a work colleague. The Rees didn't disappoint. The lobby is stunning, rooms are sensational. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Concierge staff are super friendly and full of great local knowledge and tips on where to go, where to eat and drink. Special mention to the wonderful Nathan!!!

First time to Queenstown. The town has already been fantastic. When we arrived at the hotel after 7 hour travel, we couldn't say much but wow at everything we see about the room. Super clean, Windows surrounding the room, spa bath tub, the bathroom was spacious andthe tiles in the bathroom was fully heated.

Service was fantastic, everyone showed professionalism with their customer service, always courteous and showed can do attitude to help.

Because we arrived late night we had our meal at the restaurant. The restaurant has a big window facing the hill and lake. The restaurant food was delicious modern food, the price justified the taste and the presentation of the food. The waitress, would explain what was on the food served so we knew what we ordered.

We thank Lou, Stephanie, Matt and all the staff who made our holiday very welcoming and memorable.
