“Awesome adrenaline rush!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

The staff were helpful, friendly and fun right from the booking desk to site. The area for the bungy and swing (we did the Nevis for both) had good views. They get you pumped up so you can make the jump and make jokes that add to the experience. We booked via travel agent before coming (same price as direct online) but found that if you have a bit of freedom time wise there are some brochures at the airport that can save almost $100 off a thrilogy. Video and photo packs are awesome and good value.

“Excellent experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

One of the most memorable experiences of my 4-week holiday in NZ, and if you have ever visited NZ you know that this is saying a lot. I bungee jumped once before (Auckland Harbour bridge), thought it was good fun and talked my wife into joining me for another plunge into the deep. We decided on solo jumps, although it is also possible to do a tandum jump together (a solo jump will cost you 185 NZD, double that for a tandum jump). The staff was really friendly (are there any rude Kiwis?), easygoing and laid back. Their surfer dude calm really put our fears to rest as we were strapped in for our leap into the abyss. The jump itself was particularly nice, seeing as that the scenery is breathtaking. Photos and videos are taken during the jump and these can both be bought afterwards in the souvenir shop. If your glands have any andrenalin left after the first jump you can go for a second bungee for only 50 bucks. Watching the jumpers and using the toilets is free of charge (even if you do not intend to jump). All in all it was a very good experience.

Tops:

+ Professional, friendly and easy-going staff.
+ Magnificent scenery (beautiful gorge + river and snow capped mountains all around you)
+ Great architecture (the building design is very well thought out -the viewing platform takes the cake- and the bridge from which you jump is a historic artifact in itself)
+ Facilities were excellent (option to buy videos and photos of the jump at the multimedia corner in the shop, lots of souvenirs available in the souvenir section, great food at the cafetaria, clean toilets etc.)
+ Special deals are available for: seniors (65+ jump for free!) and second-time jumpers (if you bungeed at one of AJ Hackett's locations before you get a discount and if you made an earlier jump on the same day you can bungee for only 50 bucks)

“Excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

One of The best activity we had in town. Bungy is AJHACKETT. If it is bungy then it should be AJHACKETT. It feels so good to be there. Good ambience. Friendly Staff. Highly recommended.
