“Well worth the ride.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

First is our favourite cafe to visit after a long cycle through the countryside.
Excellent bowls of coffee, tasty slices or muffins, pleasant staff. Great place to relax

“Nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Lunch with family. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Meals well cooked and presented...small blue cod is great value for $$$$ and very generous portion.
Like the simple decor, walls not cluttered with artwork for sale.
Tables spaced apart so you can enjoy the conversation at your own table.

“Nice food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012 via mobile

Nice food, lovely happy staff, but change the decor and the Barry Manalow music.
The cafe has no atmosphere and reminds me of the kind of cafe my grandmother took me to as a child that sold cheeserolls and other boring food. Luckily the menu didn't reflect that.
The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was lovely and the hollindaise sauce was on the side rather than poured over the top giving me the option of how much to put on the eggs.
Play some funky tunes.

“Quiet location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

Located in a quiet suburban precinct where car parking is not an issue. Great spacing between tables allowing an unobtrusive dining experience without interuption from fellow diners conversations. The menu is varied, catering for all palates. The premises has a liquor licence and good range of beers, wines & spirits. Their website is very good and is very detailed and easy to negotiate.
Although the food was very good and plated up attractively it was, we felt, a little on the expensive side and rated it accordingly.
