Wonderful stay! Brilliantly clean laundry and bathroom facilities but I have to say 'The Barn' kitchen/lounge/wool shed is the best area we have seen in a years travelling! Oh and the friendly animals are always a bonus, we had a chuckle at the shawn alpacas!!

Definately the most amazing family farmstay to visit in South Island NZ. Must see 'the Barn' it has the best kitchen and a huge well equipped family space, such a wonderful lounge area, this is a working farm, sheep, and a goat, a just a little extra, there is something quite special about the grounds that you will have to see for yourselves, can't give it all away. The accommodation varies, a cottage, a cook house, a barn and a bunk or three, we shared a bunk house, it was such good fun (just as a family should), we had an excellent bathroom and shower area, all bright and new. We met some lovely visitors from overseas places, as we ourselves are, there were quite a few people to meet and chat to - check out the guest book to see who has been, the comments say it all. This is a great place to chill out, literally bring your good food and your wine, for this is the place to dine. Just go there. Great hosts Karen and Gary. We stayed two days, would loved to have stayed longer. We would recommend that you plan for more than one night you will not be disappointed. We were so lucky to have chosen this place to stay, I did not want to leave. I have previously visited the NZ South Island, this is the best place that I have seen to stay at, whether you are in a camper van, self drive car, camping in a tent, or with a caravan. Stop by for a coffee, bring a picnic lunch, the grounds compare to any well kept grounds like the council parks, it just offers more. This is the place to stay. We will spread the word to others we meet. Best wishes 2014 Wilson's Darwin NT Australia.

What a gorgeous little "grandmas" unit we stayed in. Furnished retro style, very clean and comfortable. Being out of the town we were able to retreat to our unit in the evening and truly unwind in peace. The hosts are delightful and very helpful. The farm animals were an added treat and the opportunity to feed them was really great fun. We would love to return in the future.

Great little park with kids in mind … animals to pet, decent playground and The Barn with the best kitchen facilities we have seen anywhere. Great combination of tv, dining and reading area. Hosts were marvellous. Slept in Bunk/Dorm Room right next to toilet and shower area, which were clean and tidy. Totally recommend this park … lived up to its 5* cleanliness rating. No zip but two electric jugs provided. Sad that original barn was burnt down in 2012, but this Barn was complete with new stuff … which was a real pleasure to use. Its 3km out of invercagill but worth the drive.

This is set just outside the main town and is <10 mins by car

The cabin we stayed in was clean and very cosy and was perfect for our stop in invercargill.

This was our first kiwi holiday park we stayed in and we were impressed and have booked several other kiwi holiday parks in the South Island as a result of our pleasant stay here.

Highy recommend

The holiday park is a few minutes out of town which makes it very quiet and spacious. Good rates, very friendly hosts and even some farm animals to pet. Perfect for families but also backpackers! There is a big barn that has been turned into a kitchen/eating/lounge room which is modernly renovated and very cozy on wet days.

We travelled from Perth, Australia and stayed at this holiday park for 5 nights in one of the flats. To say the least, we loved it! Our three children helped feed the animals every morning, the flat was beautiful and clean, the people are LOVELY and it was just an overall wonderful experience. We didn't use the common kitchen (we had our own in the flat) but it looked amazing, and whenever we used the laundry facilities they were always clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Many thanks to Rachael for making us feel so welcome :-)
