Stayed here our first night in South Island. The facility is clean and nice. The motel manager was very welcoming and had good advice on where to go/what to see in Dunedin and surrounding area. There is a grassy area across the street and it's about a 10 minute walk to the area where the shops and restaurants are. It was easy to get to from the Dunedin airport. We had a 1 bedroom suite and the bathroom had a jetted tub which was a big hit with my toddler. Only downside was laundry was a bit more expensive to do here than in other motels we stayed in during our NZ trip. Overall, very nice.

This property is perfectly adequate but nothing special. Our studio was fairly small with a king bed, armchair, wardrobe, cupboard and sink unit/fridge all squeezed into it. There was a small shower room at the end with sliding doors. Unfortunate choice of cream colour for the net curtains over the sliding entrance doors as it only served to make them look grubby. It was basic but comfortable and we were only there for 1 night otherwise we would have tried to find somewhere else.
