Booked a Harbour View queen room. The room was very comfortable, but the view from our 5th floor was more of rooftops than the harbour. If you want a view, I suggest your request a room on the 6th floor or higher.

We stayed here for one night and it was really easy to find and convenient for the city centre. The rooms were large but the whole place felt more like a hotel for business-people than tourists.

We ate in the hotel bar, which was good value although a limited range. This was the only accomodation during our holiday where there was a charge for parking ($10 per night) and there was limited parking spaces, which may be an issue during busy times.

The room had a view but you had to be standing up looking out of the window. Finding out that it used to be the old Tax department building explained that one. Large room and adequate.

Unattractive from the outside but in a great position for restuarants and the CBD. Good designer clothes shops and cafes nearby. One Day in Dunedin is most probably enough.

Breakfast was a buffet with good choices.

Went for a drink at the bar one evening to ask about good eateries around and didn't end up having a drink as the bar person had no idea about wines which put us off especially as she was telling us which ones she liked.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend eat and drink elsewhere.

Great place to stay. Really big rooms with nice ensuite. Felt very clean. Like others our breakfast was included in rate and was well worth it , nice fresh food.
They provided a portacot and the cutest bedding package with it. Only prob was that we were charged for the room twice and didn't realise, however this was fixed as soon as we realised.
easy walk to Octagon, supermarket, theaters and Art Gallery.
