Service at this restaurant was fabulous; waitress even bought over 3 bottles of wine for me to try as to make my selection.
Food; mixed reactions.
Mine; grilled salmon, wonderful.
Daughter;smoked cheddar gnocchi, excellent presentation, average taste.
Son; morrocan eggplant dish, states best meal ever.
Husband; 'cassoulet' apparently cuts of mutton, duck and pork belly, meat was tender but tasteless and served on bed of bland chickpeas.
Desserts, disappointing compared to menu description, but beautifully presented.
Fresh NZ oysters were magnificent but expensive at $52 per dozen (robbery when I can by the same ones for half the price in Australia).
All in all, v. expensive meal which was more like work of art than food, and minimalist art at that. Perfect size for me, however, husband thinks way too small
