“An oasis of cool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

This is one of my locals, and it's always buzzing, with friendly staff, great fair trade coffee, and simple but tasty food. It has a folksy feel, with old furniture, sofas and coffee tables as well as the usual tables and chairs and of course the bicycles hanging from the ceiling. They even have a Roastery in the corner.
I also love the store in the corner with gifts from all over the world. There is counter food and a small but interesting menu and a good range of coffees and other drinks.
I love the flags for order/table markers too.

“fair trade and more than fair food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Always busy - the locals can't be wrong. Great atmosphere with everyone from young families to business lunches. Good range and fair prices. Relaxed and friendly, and even a fair trade shop on site where I bought a birthday gift. Good to have such a good time and be helping others indirectly...

“Delicious lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a delicious lunch here whilst on our travels. We both had the duck salad which was very nice and shared a yummy chocolate brownie. Nice atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon and friendly staff. There's also free wifi but we couldn't get it to work! Loved the little shop too where I bought a couple of gifts.

“Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Our first and best New Zealand coffeehouse experience. We highly recommend sitting outside if it's not too warm.
