45 minutes after placing our order for our meal of market fish and the blue cod, I decided to start writing my review as there is no sign of our meal. I am however enjoying my Speights summit and the company of my wife. On a Thursday at 6:45 for a meal, you would expect there to be orange roughy in the kitchen instead of having to get the trawler and go fishing for it! The garlic bread the table next to us ordered smells devine and has made us wish we had maybe ordered that. At 7:50 I am now wondering if not only the trawler but the delivery truck have met with some unfortunate accident and the fish have been diverted to another more fortunate eatery. On the plus side tables are turning over and we have taken the opportunity to move to a warmer table. 8:05 and our meals have arrived. Both meals were well presented and very fresh looking. Great tasting fish on both plates. Wilted greens well cooked withmust the right amount of seasoning while my wife's salad was fresh although slightly drowned with the vinaigrette. All in all, very happy with the food. Just a pity about the service.
