My wife and I stayed here roughly in the middle of our 3 week honeymoon, and I would put it tied for first among the many high-end accommodations we enjoyed. We had Room 13 at the very end facing the vineyards, which gave us seclusion and great views. The kitchen area and living space are large and well-equipped, and with laundry, DVDs, and wifi you could stay here for some time - we made full use of these features to recharge on our journey. I would highly recommend renting bikes from the front desk to tour the surrounding wineries; the hotel is very well located for this. The only cons I would put were that I didn't find the service as warm/involved as some others (but that is fine with me!) and the restaurant was only so-so, but convenient.

This was our first stop in New Zealand on our two week long honeymoon, and we could not have been happier with our choice. We stayed in one of the villas facing the vineyards (which certainly isn't hard considering the entire place is surrounded by vineyards). It was secluded and off alone. It made us feel like we were the only ones there. The bathroom was huge and had a great patio and sitting room. It was set in the middle of the vineyards just outside of Blenheim. It was the perfect location for those wishing to wine taste. We loved it!

We traveled throughout the south island for 19 days and stayed mainly in 5 star accommodation alot of which were really highly priced. This was the best of the lot and not very expensive either. We had two apartments next to one another. The apartments are so spacious and very child friendly. The best showers and water pressure of any accommodation I have ever stayed in. We loved that it was so quiet and felt like the middle of nowhere yet close enough to town for the local pizza to deliver which helped after a long day of driving. Set right amongst all the wineries it is the perfect place to base yourself from. Oh another thing that was great were the heavy curtains. Anybody travelling with children appreciates them especially when it doesn't get dark until really late in summer!

Very high standard accommodation in a beautiful vineyard setting. The rooms are actually apartment suites with good size living accommodation and large bathrooms. Food in the restaurant was generally good, although my wife was a little disappointed with her pork belly. It was a relief to find somewhere with free wireless broadband.
