We've been dropping in to Indian Sweets & Snacks every since it opened - mostly for a quick lunch from the wonderful snack menu (we've worked methodically through almost everything on it) or to pick up some unusual sweet treats to take around to friend/family get-togethers. Last night we popped in for a late-ish evening meal. The young woman who manages the front of house can seem a little offficious at times but I just love her to pieces. And the food, particularly the snacks, is so reasonably priced. We had a few of our favourites - Bhel Puri (a spicy puffed rice salad), paneer pakora served with tamarind sauce along with some onion bhaji to start and our mains included a chicken korma, a paneer kadhai (which I would highly recommend) and a chicken biryani which is a lovely big plate of jewelled rice (all oranges and yellows) with chicken curry tucked in to it's middle.
