“go to the source - in Tory St”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

ok, I agree Havana in Wigan St is funky, hip, the place to go and all that stuff, but seriously if you want the very best coffee go to their roastery in Tory St, early in the morning where you'll find the sweetest barista who always remembers your specialty - consistent quality and guarantee of interesting patrons. I drive across town for this coffee

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Tried this place for first time and it is now one of our favourite places in Wellington. Food was excellent, staff in the restaurant were very friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

“Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, delicious tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

A charming and relaxed place that manages nonetheless to convey sophistication. A wide variety of tapas but not an overwhelming list. Interesting and delicious combination of flavours ranging from more exotic like radish-celery-walnut salad with subtle wasabi dressing, green beans with almond butter to more classical but equally delicious salmon sashimi and crunchy potatoes with paprika salt and aioli. Families made feel very welcome too! A definite gem.

“Buzzing tapas bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014 via mobile

Excellent place for something slightly different. Cuban themed small, atmospheric tapas bar and restaurant. Great food, attentive and friendly staff made our meal a memorable occasion.

“Spanish delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

This is one of my favourite places in Wellington. It is situated in two cosy historic cottages, just off Cuba Street around the corner from Fidels so you can see a theme emerging. I love meeting friends here, starting off in the bar with bubbles or cocktails then moving into the restaurant and ordering from the tapas menu. The whole menu is delicious but my favourites are the patata bravas and the crisp haloumi (although one time I had to explain to the waitress that patata bravas was the crisp potatoes, paprika and lemon aioli). It's well worth going if you are visiting Wellington.
